Come and join the White Oak of York nursing team!!!! White Oak York is a 109- bed long term skill nursing and short-term rehabilitation facility. We are looking for a Full-time Registered Wound Care Treatment Nurse. This position typically works Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm. We are located at 111. S. Congress St., York, SC just down from the new courthouse.

This RN position follows facility policies and procedures to implement treatment protocols; reviews and recommends resident treatment needs and takes appropriate action and participates in supervision of care provided to our residents.

Qualifications: Active RN license in good standing with board of nursing. Knowledge of infection control, epidemiology, quality improvement, adult education principles and microbiology required.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a state approved school of Nursing. Current and active RN license in the state of residence. Must be in good physical and mental health and must be kind, considerate, understanding and enjoy working with elderly people. Must possess skills necessary for acting as charge nurse or Supervisor on a given unit, when assigned. Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel.

REQUIRED WORK ENVIRONMENTS:

Job involves mostly standing. The worker is subject to hazards 1% to 9% of the time. Hazards include closeness of moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, heights, extreme temperatures, and hazardous and/or infectious materials.

Special equipment is worn by the worker 20% to 29% of the time as protection from elements on the job (i.e., disposable gloves, mask with or without eye shield).
