Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Banquet Manager to oversee our banquet operations. The Banquet Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of banquets and events, ensuring exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction. This is a key leadership role within our hospitality team. Duties: - Plan, coordinate, and execute all banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings - Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure all details are accurately communicated to the team - Manage banquet staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management - Oversee food and beverage service during events to ensure high-quality standards are met - Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, coordinating with vendors as needed - Monitor event budgets and expenses to ensure profitability - Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized banquet area - Collaborate with other departments, such as culinary and sales, to ensure seamless event execution Skills: - Strong knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems for efficient order processing and payment handling - Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry - Proficient in food preparation techniques and presentation standards - Experience in catering or banquet operations within the hospitality industry - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively - Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management - Proven ability to interview, hire, train, and develop staff members - Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with clients, guests, and team members - Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in the banquet setting, we would love to hear from you.
