L.K. Jordan is seeking a dedicated individual for a Parts Counter Sales Representative. This full-time role involves assisting customers with their automotive part needs, both in person and over the phone. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while utilizing their knowledge of the automotive industry to help customers find the right parts for their vehicles. The pay rate is $18.00 - $22.00 hourly DOE and the schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

Engage with customers who visit the store or contact us by phone, providing prompt and courteous service. Assist customers in identifying the parts they require for their vehicles.
Utilize Karmak, our parts inventory software, to create accurate orders for customers. Ensure that orders are processed efficiently and accurately, including sending them to the warehouse for fulfillment.
Develop a general understanding of automotive parts and accessories. Utilize parts manuals and other resources to expand knowledge and assist customers effectively.
Demonstrate excellent phone communication skills when interacting with customers. Clear and concise communication is essential for understanding customer needs and providing appropriate solutions.
Utilize Microsoft Outlook for email communication and other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

General knowledge of the automotive industry 
Ability to read and learn from parts manuals to accurately identify and recommend parts
Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for email communication.
Experience using Karmak 
Strong phone communication skills, with the ability to effectively assist customers and convey information.
Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
