We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our team and will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, listening to customer needs and helping to guide them through the sale. This is a fast paced position with lots of day-to-day variation involved, so we are seeking individuals who are patient, outgoing, and positive. The right candidate will also have prior sales experience, enjoy dealing with customers and be willing to take on new challenges. This position is housed in a warehouse environment and may require heavy lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Display a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards customers and other employees.
- Interact with customers in a pleasant manner.
- Move throughout the store as needed to assist customers.
- Be able to work flexible hours or hours that change depending on business demands.
- Make suggestions to customers regarding clothing, accessories, and other items to assist them in their shopping experience.
- Deal courteously with customers.
- Pricing new items.
- Staging new items.
- Organizing and cleaning throughout the store.
- Offering assistance to coworkers.
- Intaking and sorting furniture items throughout the store.
