Position Overview:  We are looking for an Estate Planning Associate Attorney – (0-3 years’ experience) – to join our Fredericksburg office. This role offers the opportunity for newly graduated Associates to work alongside experienced attorneys, receiving comprehensive training and mentorship to develop the skills necessary for a successful career in trust and estate law.

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with partner-level attorneys to provide high-quality legal services in trust and estate planning and administration.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
• Work effectively within a team environment, contributing to a positive and supportive workplace culture.
• Drafting documents and meeting with clients to sign documents.
• Working toward conducting client seminars and workshops.

Qualifications: 

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in Virginia.
• Passion for trust and estate law.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Self-awareness, motivation, and a desire for personal growth.

Software:

• Microsoft office environment (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Wealth Docs, drafting software
