Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and assisting them with their inquiries and needs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and has a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers with product inquiries, purchases, and returns
- Provide accurate information about products, promotions, and company policies
- Process transactions using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism
- Utilize effective time management skills to prioritize tasks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts, sales tax, etc.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
