The Corporate FP&A team at WEX in Portland, ME is currently seeking a highly driven Financial Analyst (intermediate) who has honed skills in financial reporting and systems, is committed to excellence in their work, and is able to quickly connect dots to understand the bigger picture.
How you'll make an impact
Be an integral part of WEX's monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes as a key member of the Corporate FP&A team.
Partner with business leads to prepare credit and fraud forecasts and reporting of monthly result as well as build out profitability metrics to be shared with Executive Leadership team
Improve and evolve monthly reporting across Global FP&A by building dynamic reports and data views that are user friendly, focused on most critical items, easy to update, and clear for presentation to management
Be an integral part of WEX's drive to automate manual processes in Finance while utilizing tools (Alteryx, UI Path) that drive improvements in employees ability to review and analyze data.
Collaborate with peers within the finance organization to enhance financial systems & tools, drive automation, and also serve as the primary support for FP&A teams to troubleshoot data issues in the system and address process questions
Improve current reporting processes through automation or process changes.
Utilize strong organizational skills to ensure deliverables are submitted on time.
Proactively identify areas of financial risk and opportunities to the Company.
Perform other special ad-hoc projects and analyses as directed by management
Experience you'll bring
Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred
3- 5 years financial analysis experience
Experience with Alteryx and UI Path preferred
Advanced Microsoft and Google Suite skills
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
