About the Team/Role

We are seeking a talented Content Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of digital content marketing strategies. The Content Marketing Strategist will be responsible for creating engaging content across various platforms to drive brand awareness and engagement.

How you'll make an impact

• Develop and execute content marketing that aligns with business strategies and educates/resonates with WEX's prospective buyers.
• Research and create compelling content for blogs (and occasionally social media)
• Research, interview and write customer case studies
• Collaborate with the demand generation marketing team to prioritize and develop innovative top-of-funnel thought leadership
• Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to optimize strategies (Google Analytics, Keywords, SEO, etc.)
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing
• Potential for podcast interview outline development and production

We are crafting content to increase visits to our site with the goal of building brand awareness, establishing thought leadership, and increasing conversions/customer base. You'll have an opportunity to collaborate with subject matter experts across WEX to develop new, engaging ways to tell our story and drive traffic to WEXinc.

Experience you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 2 years of experience in content marketing or related field
• Strong copywriting and editing skills
• Proficiency in digital content marketing tools and platforms
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
