In this Role:
This role directly supports programs and projects for the Exxon Mobil and Esso North American fleet card portfolio and will have the opportunity to build relationships cross-functionally while supporting portfolio growth goals to reach annual targets. This role is ideal for those looking to expand upon their marketing, communication, coordination, creativity, relationship management skills, and strong work ethic. They must demonstrate an ability to work cross-functionally, take initiative, and make data driven decisions while working directly with Marketing team leadership to develop strategies, execute campaigns, and report-out on success. They will work individually and jointly with the team to support marketing plans, creative briefs, gather cost estimates, schedule production, and manage projects to completion.
What you will be doing:
Support key initiatives to drive marketing team goals and deliver ROI across acquisition, engagement and cross-sell initiatives
Assist with managing multiple projects and priorities to successfully deliver on goals and objectives
Distill and summarize information to package in presentations, and communicate campaign ideas back to leadership
Process data and determine recommendations to optimize campaign performance
Support the sales team lead through collateral development and trade show materials
Support production, execution and reporting functions for marketing channels including Email, Direct Mail, OBTM, and Digital
Assist with development of annual comprehensive marketing plans, tied to both internal revenue goals and partner goals
Work with creative team to oversee development of creative concepts that align with, support, and elevate the brand
Expect to learn the ability to draft creative briefs, perform copy editing and proofing of marketing collateral, and develop sales materials and additional communications
Cross-functional collaboration with internal and third party agencies for creative development and print production
Communicate with internal stakeholders to relay project status, troubleshoot problems, and successfully complete marketing initiatives
Must have for this role:
Rising junior, senior, OR masters-level student, in a degree/certificate-seeking accredited program
Majors/Concentrations related to Marketing or Communications are a plus
Eager and willing to learn
Self-starter; highly motivated with attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information
Experience using multi-channel marketing strategies and executing campaigns a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite
Exposure to Salesforce and Monday.com is a plus
Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment, including planning and execution with firm deadlines
Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment
