Studio Manager Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Studio Manager to take on a key role within a We Whiten studio. The Studio Manager will operate independently as the "owner," overseeing the business with a competitive base salary, a generous bonus structure, and a share of the location's profits distributed as a yearly bonus. This unique opportunity enables individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit to build a rewarding career within a profit-sharing framework based on their skills and dedication to the business. The Studio Manager will implement effective management strategies, employ marketing tactics, utilize consultative sales techniques, and provide exceptional customer service to exceed performance expectations. This role requires excelling in driving sales and ensuring the success of the location within the market.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of We Whiten services and products, surpassing performance targets and understanding client needs.
  • Manage daily operations, ensuring a clean and safe environment while guiding the team to effectively resolve customer challenges for an exceptional experience.
  • Lead by example as the primary Whitening Specialist, offering clear expectations, ongoing training, mentorship, and regular performance evaluations to empower team members.
  • Oversee operational aspects including inventory management, orders, and compliance with labor and employment regulations.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture where employees feel valued, achievements are acknowledged, issues are promptly addressed, and everyone is aligned with the company's mission.

Key Duties:
Customer Service:

  • Instill a customer-centric mindset within the team.
  • Proactively address guest service issues and scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensure day-to-day operations deliver outstanding service.
  • Introduce clients to teeth whitening products and treatment options.

Sales:

  • Serve as the primary lead Whitening Specialist.
  • Cultivate a sales-oriented culture within the team.
  • Establish and drive sales goals by motivating the team.
  • Train and lead by example in product and treatment plan sales.
  • Drive growth through sales and marketing initiatives.

People:

  • Recruit and retain top talent.
  • Support the professional development of the team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate expertise in teeth whitening procedures.
  • Train and mentor Whitening Specialists to exceed company standards.
  • Cultivate a vibrant culture within the studio.

Business Analytics:

  • Assume ownership of the business and enjoy the benefits of ownership.
  • Identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Understand the relationship between metrics and actions.
  • Effectively communicate action plans throughout the organization.
  • Analyze business performance and identify areas for enhancement.

Administrative:

  • Complete necessary tasks such as inventory management and payroll accurately and on time.
  • Manage employee schedules and time off requests.
  • Ensure compliance with state, local, and corporate regulations and policies.
  • Oversee the hiring, onboarding, training, and termination of employees.

They will be self-motivated, driven, and committed to achieving results in their "own" business, while prioritizing the delivery of exceptional customer experiences. The Studio Manager will drive sales, develop talent, motivate the team, and maintain a culture of ownership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of Sales Experience required.
  • 2 years of Management Experience within a service or retail industry required.
  • 2 years of Customer Service Experience required.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.
  • Passion for helping others look and feel their best, with potential for performance-based commissions and bonuses.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Demonstrated experience in revenue generation, with prior commissioned sales experience.
  • Proficiency in setting and interpreting retail sales goals through operational and financial reports.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Resourcefulness and adaptability to change.
  • Desire to eventually own a business is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of standing and walking.
  • Potential activities include reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision.
  • Regular use of computers and technology.
  • Occasional lifting/moving of up to 25lbs.
