Westinghouse is seeking an Associate Business Process Analyst for a 12 month contract assignment supporting our nuclear client in Salt Lake City.
In this fully proficient role, the incumbent analyzes business problems to be solved with automated systems.
- Provides technical guidance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
- Configures system settings and options.
- Executes unit, integration and acceptance testing and assists in creating specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
- Designs details of automated systems.
- Maintains knowledge of evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives or enhancements.
- Prepares communications and makes presentations on system alternatives or enhancements.
- Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.
- Research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data.
- Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced cost.
- Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes.
