Western Valley Construction is Hiring a Wildlife Specialist Near Olivehurst, CA

Job Summary

We are looking for a Wildlife Specialist to manage our wildlife control services in California. This position will be responsible for managing our wildlife services, along with our field technicians. There is room for growth and pay increases. Work entails installing preventive materials to keep wildlife out of the homes/business. Installing professional netting, screening, devices, bird proofing, bat, woodpecker, wildlife materials to keep them out. Work is done on ladders, booms, scaffolding. Repairs to the house will at times need to occur in order to seal up the home. Training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is organized, self-motivated, and has a strong work ethic. The position will be full time, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime. We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard and deliver results.

The ideal candidates will be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely. Additionally, he/she should be willing to learn new skills and increase his/her knowledge of company processes over time.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of wildlife control services provided by the company, including: Remediation's, installation of Materials on homes and Businesses and trapping.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding wildlife concerns.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

  • Wildlife damage repair

Experience:

  • Experience in the pest control industry preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in wildlife management is preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
