The Marketing Specialist/Digital Content Creator will support the marketing team through the creation and sourcing of content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn, as well as other marketing related tasks.

The right fit for this position will be a social media enthusiast with a strong understanding of the nuances between social platforms and possesses the ability to stay current on emerging trends. This person will be comfortable in their creative capabilities to come up with marketing campaigns to be executed in different ways across multiple social channels, that form a cohesive story that educates, entertains, and inspires people to join a community.

Responsibilities

• Concept and film (on both cinematic cameras and mobile devices) fun and educational social content at our Oklahoma City yard and occasionally elsewhere
• Help identify emerging trends and quickly capitalize on them
• Brainstorm, storyboard, pitch, and execute creative concepts
• Deliver on-brief, socially native assets on deadlines within monthly and weekly schedules
• Iterate on existing content based on performance marketing data
• Learn and uphold Western Flyer Xpress’s brand standards within all written, spoken and visual content
• Film, edit, and distribute content in a manner compliant with best social media practices
• Has great capabilities with editing and is excited by creative concepts coming to life
• Other marketing duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a digital marketing or social media role
• College degree preferred
• Strong knowledge of all social media platforms
• Strong creative mindset with the ability to form new campaigns on a weekly basis
