Responsibilities: Dedication to providing the safest and most efficient trucks to our drivers. Conduct DOT compliant maintenance on all vehicles/equipment within our fleet. Perform preventative maintenance on all vehicles/equipment within our fleet. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair major systems including engines, transmissions, DEF systems, AC systems, and driver safety mitigation devices/systems. Utilize OEM Diagnostic platforms for troubleshooting/repair and participate in continued learning through training opportunities. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment. Qualifications: Pass pre-employment drug screening. Pass DOT physical. High school Diploma or GED. Valid Driver’s License / CDL Driver’s License is a plus. Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic computer skills. Regular full attendance required for assigned shift. Positive team member with a collaborative attitude. Ability to understand and implement instructions, guidelines, and pertinent information necessary to complete daily tasks and assignments. Must be able to move, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally. Why Western Express Inc?
