Job Title: Commercial Credit Card Account Manager Location: Denver, CO What you'll do: Western Alliance Bank is looking for a Commercial Credit Card Account Manager to support the growth of our largest commercial credit card clients. As Commercial Credit Card Account Manager, you will know and understand assigned clients commercial card spend patterns, identify potential future spend opportunities, assist in vendor receivables matching activities on behalf of the client and be a resource to both internal sales colleagues and clients on expanding the use of cards in client’s payables operations, assist with rebate payments, develop client’s digital card and payments footprint via a consultative approach, provide internal sales and external client training, and more. Using the knowledge you gain through the role, you may also be involved in selected new program/product development and product improvement and how to best optimize the commercial card portfolios. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years in commercial card account and or digital program management with a financial institution with a sizeable commercial card portfolio. Expertise in purchasing and corporate card products and knowledge of the payments industry, including experience with credit card products, credit card payment networks, fin-techs and processing expertise are ideal. Knowledge of corporate payables, payables systems and accounting packages used in small business, middle market or large corporate environments is desired. What we are looking for: Monitor and understand client spend behavior, identify card spend opportunities, benchmark client program against peer set, understand industry best practices to assist clients with vendor engagement Support the commercial card program value proposition and improve its features and benefits over time to ensure a best in class offering using both observed practices and client feedback Execute plans for assigned card portfolios including all new and existing program and product development, implementation, roll out and campaign management. Guide multi-functional teams consisting of internal bank stakeholders (sales, product, operations), vendors, and technology partners to devise optimum solutions and results for clients Assist in the communication of the roadmap/prioritization process related to client needs to senior management Monitor, track and report key performance metrics including progress against portfolio goals/objectives and trend analysis to management and key stakeholders Coordinate vendor and third-party accounts in support of the products to ensure optimum service, quality, accuracy and responsiveness to the portfolio Provide subject matter expertise and support for all business partners and aid in development & implementation of product training materials Support implementation and operations teams to optimize current processes and long term process improvements by providing guidance, expertise and influence Partner cross-functionally in the development of calendars, analysis and implementation of client campaigns and service offerings to drive acquisition and increase card payables adoption and overall usage of the product Assist in the development of effective controls and processes to ensure in-scope risks are measured, monitored and controlled and compliance requirements are adhered to Provide input into the creation of the card product roadmap and long-term strategies for commercial credit card products/, including recommendations on features, vendors and processes to enhance portfolio growth and profitability. What you need to have: 5 -7 years in account or product management with expertise in corporate/purchasing/commercial/small business card products Knowledge of payments industry including experience with new digital commercial credit card products, payment networks and card processors Previous banking (finance/accounting) or business management experience Knowledge of accounting, payables and expense management systems a plus (Oracle Netsuite, MS Dynamics, SAP, Concur, Emburse, Quickbooks, etc) Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $102,276.00 - $126,342.00 for Denver, CO. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
