DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Supply Services Section Supervisor reports to the Logistics Manager. Provides leadership and technical expertise to the Supply Services Section. Responsible for the daily warehouse operations, property administrator operations, issuing of hand receipts, property accountability, and sensitive items storage operations. Also responsible for the proper shipping and receiving and sensitive item storage activities. Ensures established policies and procedures are adhered to. Supervises the shipping and receiving operations. Responsible for the inventory and inspection of all materials and assigned equipment. Responsible for all deliverable reports to the Government concerning supply and property accountability. Ensures that all supply procedures is in accordance with applicable supply manuals and regulations. Ensures that all safety procedures and policies are complied with. Ensures that all environmental policies and procedures are complied with. Establishes and executes an employee mentoring program within the Supply Services Section. Establishes and conducts uniform issue and turn-in procedures. Has the authority to recommend hiring and firing. Performs additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Five years’ experience as a supply operations supervisor required. Five years’ experience in Government Supply Operations preferred. Knowledgeable of the U.S. Army’s Supply system. Must have extensive knowledge of GCSS Army.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in related discipline desired; two years of experience in related field may be substituted for each of the four years of college. Prior military experience in the 92 series MOS and Senior NCO (E-7 ) is desired.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• US Citizenship is Required
• Must possess a Common Access Card/LAN
• Must possess a current Secret clearance
• Valid State driver's license and car insurance for access to military installations and travel
• Eligible for and be able to obtain a U.S. Government motor vehicle operator's permit for assigned class of vehicle

PAY: Commensurate with education/experience; plus benefits; salaried
