Details about this exciting opportunity:

  • Full Time, Part Time, and On Call positions available as a Direct Support Professional in one of our 13 group homes located in Westchester County
  • Salary Range: $16-$18.50/hour

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing assistance, services and supports that promote independence and active participation in daily living within the residence.
  •  Administering medications as assigned.
  • Observing and reporting individuals’ illness, health care concerns, injuries, incidents and possible individual abuse.
  • Affirm the human rights, civil rights and responsibilities of the people you support.

If you have the following:

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.

And Attributes:

  • A Valid Driver’s License for over two years is a must.
  • Able to participate in, pass and maintain certification of WJCS required training that includes but may not be limited to Medication Administration, SCIP, CPR/First Aid, Driving the Van and Mandatory Training as identified by OPWDD.
  • This position requires physical activity including but limited to lifting, moving, pulling, pushing, flexing, and bending.
