We are hiring for Summer Day Camp Counselor Positions at Camp Wells Ave for the 2024 Summer season! Please apply here if you are interested in joining us as Day Camp Counselor or August Day Camp Counselor.
Each week campers have a blast with full days of traditional camp games, sports, arts and crafts, swim lessons, hiking, free swim, nature walks, exploration, and camp-wide fun! All activities are run by trained counselors who model the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior camp staff experience or equivalent experience.
- At least 16 years old (by June 15th)
- Ability and experience in supervising children
- Desire and ability to work in a camp setting.
- Good role model, high integrity, and adaptable
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Positive attitude and ability to build a cohesive team.
- Current First Aid and Adult and Child CPR certifications
- Committing to support and further our anti-racist work as an organization. Learning about our initiatives and the continuous work and being able to vocalize with members if needed.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
