West of Camden is Hiring a Sales Associate Near San Diego, CA
West of Camden is looking for sales associates to join our team at our San Diego location within One Paseo shopping center.
As a Sales Associate, you will be an integral part of the West of Camden team. Sales Associates provide outstanding customer service, meet monthly sales goals, demonstrate superior product knowledge, create a shopping experience that will make the customer feel welcome and comfortable and perform other duties as assigned.
Starting Pay: $16.30 / $16.75 per hour Commission. With ability to grow and earn more.

Essential Functions:
- *Assist customers in all aspects of their shopping experience while providing excellent customer service. *Demonstrate proficient knowledge of store products and services to build sales and minimize returns. *Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm at all times. *Be knowledgeable of and perform sales support functions related to POS procedures *Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality
Qualifications:
Education /Experience
No specific educational accomplishment is required.
No specific past work is required, although past work in retail and/or fashion is a major plus.
Communication Skills
Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management. Able to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.
Mathematical Skills
Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must be able to calculate percentages and ratios. Must be able to make change using American Monetary units.
Other Skills
Must enjoy meeting and interacting with customers. Must enjoy working as a team. Must be proficient with technology such a PC based computers and iPads.
Work Hours
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and busy events such as the day after Thanksgiving, special Big Event days, and the day after Christmas, based on store needs.
Age:
Must be 18, or have proper documentation to work as a minor.

- *Must have reliable transportation. *Must be able to work weekends. *Must have previous (non-volunteer) work history *Prefer past retail experience within the fashion industry, but not required. *Non-seasonal applications preferred.
