The Facilities Maintenance Technician pay range is $25.00-33.00 per hour, based on experience. Benefits include PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, and a 4% 401k match with immediate vesting.
What you'll do as a Facilities Maintenance Technician:Quickly respond to maintenance needs that disrupt line production.Coordinate third party repairs on building and facility equipment such as bay doors and forklifts.Support planned maintenance program for industrial machinery and equipment including conveyors, forklifts, gearboxes, warehouse racking, and pneumatic or hydraulic systems.Regularly inspect and monitor facilities, machinery, tools, and equipment for operation or safety concerns.Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building structures, grounds, and systems.Maintain, service, and conduct minor repairs on buildings and equipment. Perform a variety of semiskilled duties in the areas of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and welding.Complete service or repair requests for office areas. This may include tasks such as changing out light bulbs or fixtures, replacing/repairing doors and hinges, and installing white boards or other materials.Work with machine shop tools including mill, lathe, drill press, welding, and cutting equipment.Accurately read, interpret, and follow schematic diagrams, blueprints, and sketches.Use equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts to access hard to reach areas or move materials and equipment.Regularly lift and move up to 50lbs.Demonstrate willingness to learn new ways of doing things and readily share information with others.Be on-time for every scheduled shift. Reliable attendance is a must!Requirements:
At least 2 years' experience in general facilities maintenance.At least 2 years' experience installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing plus experience in welding and fabrication.Strong mechanical, electrical, and machine shop skills.Excellent problem solving abilities.Safety First approach in everything you do.Current forklift certification preferred, but not required.Bonus if you have related training or certifications.Pay & Benefits:The full pay range for this position is $25.00 to $33.00.
