West Michigan Cardiology is Hiring a Registered Nurse Near Grand Rapids, MI
Our busy cardiology clinic is looking for a dependable Registered Nurse to fill our full time Clinic Nurse position. This position will be located in our Grand Rapids office location.
Job qualifications:
Education: RN Degree from either an Associate Degree or bachelor Degree program with current Michigan license and BCLS certification
Experience: Previous medical office experience would be preferred, as well as previous Epic system experience.
Job duties include (but not limited to):
- Triage incoming calls from cardiology patients
- Triage incoming calls from other agencies, such as hospitals, offices, insurance companies, pharmacies, etc
- Review and address incoming lab and imaging results
- Call patients with test results and recommendations from our providers
- Place orders in Epic
- FMLA/disability forms
- Medication prior authorizations
- Assist with medication stress tests, which may include IV start, IV pump management, EKG and patient monitoring
- Assist with Medical Assistant supervision and training
- Co-manage our Anticoagulation Clinic
- Nurse visits as needed for patient blood pressure management, medication management and/or test results
**This is a full time desk triage position. Direct patient care is minimal.
Full Benefits (dental, vision, health care, 401K, FSA, PTO, etc)
Hours: No nights, weekends or holidays.
During training period, five 8 hour days. After 90 day training period, possibility of four 9 hour days.
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.
