West Main Family Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Waterbury, CT

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team and provide support to our dentists. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in dental radiology and be able to assist the dentist with patient care. The successful candidate will also be responsible for sterilizing instruments, setting up trays, and taking x-rays. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and is eager to learn new skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment.
  • Assist with patient education and instruction.
  • Take and process x-rays and other radiographs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during patient care.
  • Assist with patient records and scheduling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 27 per week
