Responsibilities:
- Training to lead to certification as an Audiologist Assistant for specific test procedures.
- Check in deliveries and prepare patient trays for appt with Doctor
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Respond to phone inquiries when requested by Doctor
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing processes
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a medical assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using medical office software
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
