Position Overview:

Seeking a Manager for QA/QC Imaging/Mammography at West Cancer Center. Responsibilities include documenting QA/QC for all mammography equipment, training staff in QA/QC procedures, and weekly monitoring with meticulous record-keeping in the QA/QC manual.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods.
• Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, compliance activities, and policies and procedures.
• Assists in the teaching of QA/QC to all techs for all equipment.
• Completes ACR and ASBS requirements for reaccreditation.
• Manages daily operations of Mammography and Ultrasound technologist.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT.
• 1-2 years progressive leadership experience. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Mammography Tech.
• Registered Mammography technologist.
• Certification and registration as R.T. M (R) ARRT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
