Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Cashier to join our team. As a Lead Cashier, you will be responsible for overseeing cash register operations, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with various sales tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent cash handling abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Duties:
- Operate cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers with technical sales inquiries and product recommendations
- Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions, discounts, and special offers
- Ensure cash register area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Train and supervise cashiers on proper cash handling procedures and customer service protocols
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding stock replenishment needs
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a prompt and courteous manner
- Perform opening and closing procedures as required
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Strong cash handling skills with the ability to accurately count money and make change
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of technical sales or experience in jewelry sales is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency in English and [Bilingual] is preferred
