Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The Assistant Store Manager will assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee supervision
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Train and onboard new employees, conducting employee orientations and providing ongoing coaching and development
- Manage and motivate a team of sales associates, setting performance goals and providing regular feedback
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Assist in creating and implementing store policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register operations
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and execute promotional activities to drive sales
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, conducting stock counts, and ensuring accurate product placement
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail management role or similar position
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software applications
- Strong selling skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and employee supervision
- Budgeting and financial management skills
- Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
