Job Role and Responsibility: Responsible for introducing new tools and technologies to accelerate Test Automation for back-end systems; actively practice Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) while developing new features and refactoring existing code; contribute to Dev Ops, Test Automation and automated build and deployments; participate in code reviews, data modeling, design reviews and refactoring discussions with multiple domain and delivery teams to ensure high quality deliverable, aligned with standards and best practices; monitor code quality, security issues and manages technical backlogs; responsible for application support and address operational issues and client defects via standard processes; champion continuous improvements in the organization; identify important emerging technologies and leads in analysis of their benefits and impact; collaborate with the business analysts and ETL development team members to resolve complex data design issues/provide optimal solutions that meet business requirements and benefits system performance; deep involvement in App Rationalization initiatives to migrate the legacy code from old technologies (mainframe, Cobol, Java) to modern technologies; responsible for providing technical leadership and mentorship to the other engineers on the team; hands on Programming, unit testing and building high quality Informatica work-flows, web-services, PUSQL stored procedures, triggers and back-end scripts that is manageable, reliable and maintainable; and working with Product Owners, Application Architects and business functional leaders to design using various open source technologies, tools and best practices.

Required Qualifications: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving application development and implementation experience.
