About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Product Management Consultant in Consumer Cloud and Platform Management Services as part of Consumer Data and Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. You will serve as a lead business analyst managing one or multiple workstreams to define and implement Controls and Data Quality checks for Consumer Data Products.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead one or multiple workstreams to define minimum Data Quality standards and Controls and go-forward operating model to establish DQ for Consumer Data Products teams
  • Partner will multiple product teams, central governance teams and technology teams to gather feedback and align on standards
  • Lead control remediation initiatives working closely with our control partners
  • Design and conduct data analysis activities for use cases. Understand and document current-state challenges and data quality controls in place.
  • Execute Proof of Concept to assess latest tools in the market that will allow CDP teams to scale Controls and DQ checks build-out
  • Define and execute training plan for different product teams on Data Quality processes and tools
  • Serve as SME and trusted point of contact to other product teams to establish Controls and DQ
  • Provide status updates on DQ standards definition and implementation to different stakeholder teams including leadership and executives
  • Allocate work to agile teams and provide guidance and support where required
  • Lead complex data product initiatives, including those that are cross-functional with broad impact, and act as key participant in large-scale planning driving data enablement and capabilities across platforms and utilities
  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term data product initiatives that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors to drive data enablement strategies and roadmaps, while adhering to set data governance and standards
  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of data, analytics, and integration needs of line of business partners to inform prioritization, roadmap, and architecture design, that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to ensure data product solutions are built for optimal performance and design analytics applications across multiple platforms, resolve data product issues, and achieve goals; may lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor
  • Provide strategic input on new use case intake, prioritization, product roadmap definition, and other critical business processes
  • Manage complex datasets continuously focusing on the consumers of the data and their business needs, while adhering to set data governance
  • Create and maintain data product roadmaps throughout the data product life cycle with detailed specifications, requirements, and flows for data capabilities
  • Design and maintain innovative data products, enabling data availability for data intelligence, analytics, and reporting
  • Serve as a strategic liaison between data management, product teams, data engineering, and architecture teams throughout the data product life cycle
Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 2 years of data quality, data observability and data governance experience
  • 2 years of data product management consulting and Agile delivery experience
  • 4 years of project experience demonstrating excellent SQL, data profiling and reporting skills
  • 1 years of project experience in internal and external control assessments, audits and remediations
  • Expertise in banking data sets such as products, accounts, customers, transactions, etc. Consumer Banking experience a plus
  • Strong leadership skills to manage work activities and team members in dispersed geographies and time zones
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Salary range is determined by location of the job. May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards.
Pay Range
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
