Wells Fargo is Hiring a Corporate Finance Advisory Senior Analyst Near CHARLOTTE, NC

About this role:

Corporate Finance Advisory performs strategic financial analysis at the direction of the senior most levels of Wells Fargo Finance. Much of the work is project based and has potential impact across the Company. The role provides exposure across the Finance functions at the Company (CFO teams, Treasury, Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Controllers, etc). This role will partner closely with Lead Analysts who typically lead the execution of assignments.

In this role you will:

  • Assess the ongoing performance and positioning of our businesses against our competitors and identify financial improvement opportunities.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses on a variety of topics such as business / product profitability, business strategy, acquisitions and divestitures, valuation, and strategies to position the company appropriately in advance of regulatory change; engage with finance professionals across the firm to influence decision making.
  • Advise pricing teams across the company on return guidance and implementation of common assumptions related to shared firm financial constraints (capital, liquidity, etc); provide perspective on relative value informed by customer relationship value.
  • Support Finance executive leadership on high profile financial presentations,
  • Support improvements to Finance’s assorted methodologies and infrastructure through developing and assessing proposed changes and ultimately supporting implementation as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including high level of proficiency in financial modeling
  • Proficiency with creating presentations suitable for executive management
  • Knowledge of U.S. bank regulatory capital rules liquidity standards, and asset/liability management practices
  • Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills
  • Experience navigating through ambiguity
  • Experience in a finance, investment banking, strategy, or related role covering the financial services industry
  • Financial services industry

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
