About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Director to lead the CSBB Payments Third-Party Risk, Payments Card Industry (PCI), and Network Rules Management function. This role reporting directly to the Head of CSBB Payments will be responsible for managing these programs and control activities including managing the portfolio’s overall adherence to the Enterprise Third-Party Risk Management Program, PCI Data Security Standards and Network Rule requirements. This leader will manage a team of business execution consultants responsible for the management of the Enterprise PCI Program, numerous third-party engagements and relationships, and compliance with Visa, Mastercard, NACHA, and EWS network rules for Debit Cards, Zelle, and other CSBB Payment products.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop multiple business functional areas with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, and internal and external partners associated with the area of Business Execution or who are affected by its outcomes
  • Identify Business Execution opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the long-term to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency
  • Review Network Rule changes as they are introduced, ensuring that the appropriate teams across DPG and it’s partners assess for impacts, prioritize for execution, or document waivers as appropriate
  • Lead Business Execution team for assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for long-range and fundamental retooling of perspective, approach, culture, quality, relationships, operations, and capabilities
  • Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 8 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4 years of management experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of third-party management policy and consumer compliance requirements related to payment products (REG E, UDAAP, BSA/AML, OFAC)
  • Experience with Payment networks and associated rules including PCI-DSS, EWS Zelle, EWS Paze rules, NACHA, and Mastercard and Visa card issuer rules
  • Demonstrated expertise managing large scale programs and being able to deliver at scale in a highly regulated and fast changing environment
  • Expert verbal, written and presentation skills; must be able to effectively communicate and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, competing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
  • Strong Analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to effectively communicate, create and deliver dynamic presentations to all levels of the organization
  • Experience with Risk and Control Self Assessment activities and programs
  • Strong relationship management and proven leadership skills, with solid conflict management, negotiation, and organizational effectiveness techniques
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Experience providing horizontal oversight and managing multiple high priority functions
  • Prove ability to deliver enterprise solutions across multiple business and support functions
  • Track record of developing enterprise risk based strategic plans to direct large scale programs, priorities and implementations

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Pay Range

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
