Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral health assessments and formulate a diagnosis.
- Develop treatment plans and goals in collaboration with clients to address their behavioral health needs.
-Facilitate group therapy sessions.
- Provide counseling and support to individuals with special needs, including those with autism and special education requirements.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate treatment progress and make necessary adjustments to therapeutic interventions.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of behavioral health therapy, including psychopharmacology.
- Address gender-related issues in counseling sessions and provide support for clients navigating gender identity concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors /Master's degree in Social Work/ Counseling.
- Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist/Counselor or eligible for licensure.
- Experience working with individuals with special needs.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its implications for behavioral health treatment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches based on individual client needs.
