Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Schedule patient appointments using eClinicalWorks or similar systems
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with medical office administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred
- Proficiency with phone systems and office equipment
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar medical scheduling software is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
