Job Purpose

You will help support our Ops/IT team by deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations to meet customer needs. You will work closely with the development team to build and maintain infrastructure solutions.

This position is open as contract to hire or direct hire.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs.
  • Collaborate with the development team to design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
  • Assist in building and maintaining development, testing, and production environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, network, and application performance.
  • Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.
  • Deploy updates and fixes and provide Level 2 technical support.
  • Write deployment, configuration, provisioning, monitoring, and other scripts as needed in addition to the existing DevOps tools.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Powershell, or Bash.
  • Good knowledge of MS SQL Server and in writing SQL Queries, and procedures.
  • Experience in using version control tools like Subversion (SVN), GIT.
  • Experience in Azure Cloud.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs is a plus.
  • Proficient in debugging complex systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • 5 years relevant work experience

Welldoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST and SOC 2 Type II compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either, prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
