Material Handler - Raw Material Sample Warehouse

Summary

Join Weissman's fashion team as a Material Handler, contributing to the core of prototype development in our sample room. Dive into the dynamic world of fashion by accurately selecting raw materials based on the Tech Pack's Bill of Materials, utilizing your precision and referencing information in IMS or M3. In this role, you'll receive and meticulously store materials, verify deliveries against invoices, and maintain the integrity of the RMSW inventory. Collaborate seamlessly with team members, using moving equipment for efficient product handling and fulfilling requests from various departments. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately select raw materials for prototype development in the sample room based on the Tech Pack's Bill of Materials (BOM), adeptly navigating information in IMS or M3.

• Receive incoming materials and ensure their meticulous storage in designated RMSW locations, conducting thorough verifications against invoices to ensure precise deliveries.

• Uphold the integrity of RMSW inventory through proficient execution of transactions in the inventory system, including updating counts and entering new quantities as necessary.

• Utilize moving equipment, such as pallet jacks and dollies, to efficiently manage the receipt and delivery of products and materials to their designated locations, ensuring a seamless workflow.

• Collaborate dynamically with various Weissman departments, fulfilling requests by delivering raw materials, transacting inventory quantities, and transporting materials to specified work areas, showcasing adaptability in a creative and collaborative team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or demonstrate equivalent work experience, reflecting a commitment to excellence in the role.

• Fluent in English, showcasing proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication, contributing to effective team collaboration.

• Display computer literacy and the ability to communicate seamlessly via email, showcasing technological adaptability.

• Exhibit proficiency in basic math and measuring skills, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of the imperial measurement system, ensuring precision in tasks.

• Showcase strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, demonstrating an aptitude for collaborative success within the dynamic fashion environment at Weissman.
