Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler and experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment. This is a crucial role in our organization, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of cranes in warehouse settings.

Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment
- Perform pre-operational checks to ensure the crane is in proper working condition
- Safely rig and secure loads for lifting
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
- Communicate with team members to coordinate lifts and ensure smooth operations
- Inspect and maintain the crane and its components regularly
- Complete all required documentation related to crane operations

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and skills:
- Proven experience operating cranes in a construction or warehouse setting
- Proficient in materials handling techniques and rigging procedures
- Familiarity with operating other heavy equipment such as forklifts and backhoes
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot any issues that may arise with the crane
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
