Position Overview:

We seek an experienced Accountant to join our team to play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Job Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor performance against budgeted figures.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and managing collections.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and support as needed.
• Financial Systems Management: Utilize accounting software and other financial systems to record transactions and generate reports.
• Advisory and Decision Support: Provide financial advice and support to management, helping to inform strategic decision-making.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting or financial management roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle, and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
