Weir's Funiture,Inc. is Hiring a Customer Service Representative (Inbound/Outbound Call Center) Near Farmers, TX

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the customer by phone or email with his/her request in the most professional and courteous manner possible;
  • In addition, responds to all internal requests for assistance by co-workers, managers and supervisors;
  • Cross-trained on all functions of the customer service department - may be required to rotate tasks/assignments on a frequent basis;
  • Responsible for adhering to company policy regarding the customer service ticket processing system (i.e. service orders, calls against order, assembling delivery tickets, etc..);
  • Notifies customers of their estimated delivery time frames; communicates with delivery drivers on a consistent basis;
  • Places customer service follow up calls with customers following delivery services;
  • Operates dispatch radio periodically;
  • Verifies that all delivery tickets are closed at the end of the day;
  • Promotes good working relations within WCO and with all other company departments, maintaining a harmonious work environment;
  • Serves as a backup in the Information Center (Front Desk) on a rotating basis;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent people skills – enjoy interaction with people ( customers and co-workers ) and meeting their needs with a "smiling" voice;
  • Excellent listening, communication and problem solving skills – professional phone etiquette;
  • Able to comprehend and navigate through the AS400 system;
  • Light typing;
  • Attentive to detail and observant of needs – problem-solving;
  • Must take initiative and work diligently without close supervision
  • Must dress professionally and adhere to the Weir's employee code of conduct at all times;

Working Conditions:

The Customer Service Representative works under the direct authority of the Customer Service Supervisor to achieve the highest possible standard of efficiency and accuracy possible for Weir’s Furniture Village. They must be able to pleasantly interact with both customers and co-workers, while maintaining an efficient and effective routine that ensures customers are taken care of in an efficient and timely manner.
