Qualifications:

• Must enjoy customer contact and service "with a smile";

• Professional appearance;

• Experience in 100% commission sales or retail sales required;

• Good computer skills;

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

• Good time management;

• Requires associate to be on his/her feet for the majority of the day;

• Physically able to move and re-position furniture ( 20 or more pounds ) as needed.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, thorough, and available to serve

customers and co-workers ( for example: greeting customers upon their entrance to the store ,

accurately assessing customer needs, attentive to detail ).

• Knowledgeable about the product and special orders;

• Assist customers with questions and purchases;

• Responsible for keeping the appointed section clean, “fluffed” and dusted;

• Contact customers by phone and mail regarding upcoming events and new releases;.

• Keep a detailed clientele book and be attentive to “follow up;

• Familiar with AS400 computer system and POS software as well as other common office

equipment;

• Perform other related duties as assigned.
