Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. As a Handy Man, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- OWN VEHICLE
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing systems, electrical wiring, and fixtures
- Perform general carpentry work, including repairing or replacing doors, windows, and cabinets
- Repair or replace damaged drywall, paint surfaces, and perform other minor repairs
- Install or repair flooring, tiles, and other interior finishes
- Inspect buildings and equipment for any potential issues or hazards
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects or renovations
- Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and materials used
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or similar role
- Strong knowledge of various construction and maintenance techniques
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
