Webster University is Hiring a HR Coordinator Near St. Louis, MO

Description
Serves as first point of contact for the department, directly and virtually. Maintains intake of group emails for various human resources functions and responds, triages or escalates accordingly. Supports other HR related employee and manager communication.
Supports employment verification, subpoenas and public loan requests, tuition remission eligibility and unemployment responses. Coordinates as needed with other HR partners for complete response.
Provides oversight to record retention and maintains confidential office records and files.
Requests purchase orders, processes invoices and tracks against budget allotment.
Provides administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer, e.g. organizing meetings, scheduling rooms, calendaring, drafting memos, supporting updates to presentations, etc.
Supports office management, overseeing effective operation of all equipment and resources, maintaining an adequate supply of office supplies or ordering as need.
Performs other tasks required to administer and execute support of the Human Resources unit.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 1-2 years of relevant HR experience. Plus:
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with individuals, groups and in a presentation format; strong listening skills
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Intermediate skill and proficiency with Microsoft products, particularly Excel.
Expertise with HRMS systems.
Ability to exercise critical human relations skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a diverse group of employees, students, and the public.
Demonstrated team orientation and effective collaboration with groups.
Experience with payment and invoice management with strong mathematical aptitude.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and to work to a project plan.
Comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of regulations and overall business operations affecting Human Resources.
Demonstrates high ethical standards and maintenance of confidentiality.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ADP systems strongly preferred.

Physical Demands
Core hours Monday through Friday 8:30a - 4:30p with flexibility according to operational needs. Work is performed within the normal range of an office environment. Ability to move around/across campus is required. Lifting up to 25 pounds on occasion.
