We The People Holsters is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Agent to oversee procurement operations. The ideal candidate will excel in negotiating with vendors, maintaining meticulous records, and collaborating cross-departmentally to ensure the smooth flow of materials and supplies necessary for our operations.

Position Responsibilities:

● Source materials, supplies, and equipment crucial for We The People Holsters' operations.

● Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms for purchases.

● Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluating their offerings.

● Maintain meticulous records of purchases, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quantities.

● Collaborate with various departments to assess purchasing needs and specifications.

● Monitor inventory levels and liaise with inventory control for maintaining adequate stock.

● Utilize E-commerce systems for seamless online purchasing and order tracking.

● Work closely with production planning to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Position Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (preferred).

● Demonstrated experience as a purchasing agent or in a similar role.

● Proficient negotiation skills to secure advantageous terms and pricing.

● Knowledgeable about inventory control principles and practices.

● Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like Oracle EBS.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Detail-oriented with a strong organizational aptitude.

Education

● Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (preferred).

● Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like Oracle EBS.

Experience

● 3 years of experience in project management, leadership,or successful entrepreneurship ventures preferred

● 3 years of experience in purchasing / inventory management

Qualifications

● 1-3 years in the firearm industry preferred
