Summary/Objective(s)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Las Vegas, Nevada, and oversee our Kydex and holster production operations. The Manufacturing Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.

Essential Functions

● Supervise and coordinate the activities of production personnel engaged in Kydex and holster manufacturing, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

● Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules.

● Collaborate with the production planning team to optimize production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency.

● Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure optimal functionality.

● Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality control measures to maintain consistent product quality and regulatory compliance.

● Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline manufacturing processes.

● Maintain accurate production records, inventory levels, and other relevant documentation to support inventory management and reporting requirements.

● Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to production staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and collaboration.

● Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including management, engineering, and quality assurance, to address production issues, drive problem-solving efforts, and support organizational goals.

● Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in Kydex and holster manufacturing, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and process improvements.

Competencies

● Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field preferred.

● Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in Kydex and holster production or a related industry.

● Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials used in Kydex and holster production.

● Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, prioritize tasks, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software applications.
