The Wayne Reed Christian Childcare Center is a Three-Star Quality Program which follows all the rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Human Services. WRCCC is seeking a dedicated and professional individual who loves children and is willing to work as an Assistant Teacher. We have an Assistant Teacher openings in our 1 & 2 year old Toddler classrooms with a potential start date of Mon., April 29, 2024.

Job responsibilities include, but limited to; understand curriculum as it pertains to the child development theories, implementing lessons plans, instructs students individually and in group, interacts and engages with students to facilitate cognitive and social-emotional learning, establish meaningful and positive relationships with parents and co-workers, responsible for the welfare, safety, and health of children in care and for practicing general health principles and accepted universal precautions, help students learn classroom procedures, help students learn personal responsibility and respect for fellow students.

The ideal candidate must possess a passion for teaching, love working with children with the following preferred qualifications:

· Minimum one (1) year experience with young children.

· High School Diploma required. CDA or college course work in the ECE related field would be preferred, but not required.

· Ability to promote the appropriate developmental skills in young children.

· Experience in creating and implementing lesson plans.
