Pay Grade - 15
Annual Compensation Range ($USD): 49,039.00 - 67,392.00 paid on a bi-weekly basis. Individual pay is determined by the applicable CBA and related articles.A Brief Overview
The Inventory Control Specialist will maintain the organization's inventory, including ordering, receiving, and supplying then necessary items, while maintaining adequate records of all procurements. The Inventory Specialist receives, stores, issues, supplies, materials and equipment and orders all items needed for designated departments.The Inventory Control Specialist is a 24/7/365 position and weekend, and holiday work may be required.What you will do
- Receive and verify quantities, parts, materials and supply deliveries from vendors, employees and customers
- Record transactions (enters new items, transfers, deletions, etc.) manually or electronically in the Inventory Management System (CMMS)
- Develop and distribute inventory reports to other divisions/departments by validating information from CMMS
- Assess inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery and high demand items. Conducts research and gather data to support the purchasing process
- Process delivery reports, vouchers, purchase order requisitions and expense reports
- Assists with KEYLOCKS program
- Maintain vendor contact lists
- Verifies costs in Munis and other WCAA related software as needed
- Assists in the three-party verification of invoices, purchase orders, etc.
- Move materials and supplies by operating a hi-lo, pallet jack, scissor lift, pickup truck and other inventory specific equipment. This will include supporting snow and ice control operations by moving and loading deice materials, and other weather-related bulk chemicals
- Stores supplies, materials and equipment in assigned storage locations. Ensure locations are clean and organized
- Issues supplies, materials and equipment to authorized department personnel. Deliver as necessary
- Pick up supplies, materials and equipment from Vendor locations
- Perform physical inventories of available supplies, materials and equipment
- Complete monthly, quarterly, yearly audits as required
- Records multiple types of stock transactions (enters new items, transfers, deletions, etc.) manually or electronically in the Inventory Management System (CMMS)
- Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed
