General Overview:

The Senior Accountant role will work across functions supporting the corporate and investment accounting teams. Responsibilities include the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate financial reporting packages of Waycrosse and Consolidated Subsidiaries. This role will reconcile balance sheet accounts, review, and approve journal entries, payment vouchers, and money movement transactions. The successful candidate will have shared responsibility as Administrator of our General Ledger system and must have a strong understanding of US GAAP and controls over financial reporting. In addition, this role will participate in tactical initiatives for reporting and data warehouse integrations. Other responsibilities include issuing client annual 1099’s, key participant in annual audits, budgeting, and forecasting, and process improvements.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Monthly, Quarterly, Annual and Ad Hoc Financial Reporting 25%
• Review and approve journal entries, vouchers, money movement 20%
• JDE Administrator 20%
• Participate in reporting and data integration technology projects 15%
• Participate in annual audit and budgeting process 10%
• Perform ad hoc duties as requested 10%

Professional Qualifications:

• 4-year accounting degree required
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
• Desire to grow and learn new tools, technologies and enhance processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent independent problem solving and analytical skills
• Adaptable, dependable and detail oriented
• Must display positive attitude in managing interactions with others inside and outside the organization
• Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects
