Royal Corportaion is a premier distributor of Janitorial/Sanitary Supplies and disposable foodservice & concession supplies servicing customers nationwide with distribution centers in CA, WI, TX, and FL. We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to help achieve new sales and service existing customers via the telephone in order to meet department and company goals. 

You will be backed by an industry-leading management and support team.

Essential Duties

  • Regularly call upon established accounts by phone.
  • Grow gross margin in un-established accounts and active account base
  • Expand product mix within existing customer base.
  • Responsible for Sales Order flow.
  • Assist in enrolling and training Customers on use of Royal's Internet Ordering System. 
  • Responsible for pricing administration, including overseeing quote edit function and passing increases on to customers.
  • Responsible for maintenance of operating teams quotes.
  • Manage orders.
  • Make regular calls to potential users of material, equipment and services offered by the company.
  • Maintain proper relationships with customers and prospects as Royal's authorized representative.
  • Generate mailing lists to inform customers of new products, company policy and promotions.
  • Participate in select vendor promotions as directed by management.
  • Assist with creating and/or editing Quotes, Proposals, and Inventory Order Guides
  • Assist with coordinating proposal responses including completion of forms, gathering signatures, and assembling final submittals.
  • Assist in customer account maintenance at Royal and customer facilities.
  • Assist in customer training and videos.
  • Prepare literature, catalogs, and other presentation materials as requested.
  • Responsible for running internal and customer reports as needed, including but not limited to Month End, Year to Date, etc.
  • Format reports using Excel pivot tables, vLookup formulas, etc.
  • Assist vendors with work-with schedules, promotion claim forms, and memos to Account Consultants.
  • Administrative support in the planning of events to include but not be limited to sales meetings, sales banquets, customer appreciation days and customer seminars as well as vendor and company sponsored events.
  • Assist Account Consultants by phone and in person.
  • Collaborate with customer service team to support Webstore maintenance and customer set up.
  • Visit with customers to deliver samples, review products and program.
  • Collaborate with Tech team on installations and conversions.
  • Other Special Projects (such as flyers, forms, agendas, etc.) as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively to customer using telephone and email.
  • Ability to interact professionally with vendors, customers and division personnel.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Ability to work independently and build strong relationships
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Decision making and problem resolution abilities
  • Strong interpersonal, selling, and presentation skills.
  • Training abilities to enhance customer knowledge.
  • Janitorial supply or related industry experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office and AS400 (Aplus).
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

This position offers a competitive starting salary and comprehensive benefits program. Pay range $28.84-$31.25/hr
