Royal Corportaion  is a premier distributor of Janitorial/Sanitary Supplies and disposable foodservice & concession supplies servicing customers nationwide with distribution centers in CA, WI, TX, and FL. We are seeking field service technician who is highly self-motivated, dedicated, and dependable individual based in Santa Fe Springs,CA  to be part of our field service technician team in supporting janitorial chemical dispensing, laundry, and dishwashing chemical dispensing systems

Scheduled hours for this position are 7:00AM to 5:30 PM with the potential for overtim

Essential Duties

• provide technical service and equipment repair - chemical mixing stations, sanitizing dispensers, towel/tissue dispensers, etc.
• evaluate equipment in need of repair and perform the necessary repairs.
• perform periodic maintenance in the field and in shop for customer equipment.
• explain equipment repairs to customers and communicating any parts needed.
• update charts and labels for dispensers
• complete all repair paperwork and obtain signatures after work is performed.
• demonstrate and provide instructions to customers in the use of equipment and dispensers.
• respond to emails and voicemails.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
• ability to handle problems according to a prescribed format • hand and power tools experience a plus
• clean driving record mandatory**
• able to travel out of town/state including some overnight and weekend stays
• able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, involves manual loading/unloading and lifting
• able to work in a fast paced environment
• able to follow directions accurately and taking accurate measurements
• communicates well with co-workers and supervisor
• able to use app on tablet for jobs assigned
• strong team player and ability to work with others
• available to work overtime and holidays when needed
• must have reliable means of transportation to and from work
• Occasional weekend work and/or out of town travel

This position offers a competitive starting salary and comprehensive benefits program. 

Pay Range: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
