WAUSEON MACHINE AND MFG, INC is Hiring a Remote Precision Machining Sales Manager (Remote)
Core Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, vision, and coaching to sales staff to achieve sales excellence and ensure the Wauseon business objectives are being met.
Ensure that the Wauseon sales process is being executed consistently by all sales team members.
Lead effective weekly sales meetings that drive accountability and results.
Oversee customer visits and travel with sales staff when necessary.
Work with the Estimating Department to develop quotations for new projects.
Pursue and solicit sales opportunities for both assigned and prospective customer accounts, as well as maintain established business.
Ensure there is proper alignment between Wauseon Machine’s capabilities and the customers’ requirements.
Understand each customers’ business objectives to provide real, effective solutions that provide high value to the customer.
Prepare sales proposals that show how WM is uniquely qualified to win the project.
Provide sales “intelligence” to ensure understanding of costs, profitability, and probability of success in winning of all projects quoted.
Grow and maintain a robust opportunity funnel aligned with sales and new business pursuit strategy for the company.
Maintain CRM system for new and existing opportunities; monitor booking forecast, set priorities, and follow up on all rough order of magnitude, budgetary, and firm fixed price quotes for assigned accounts.
Support new business development, trade shows, and marketing.
