Waters Corporation is Hiring a Sr. Finance BP Manager Near Centreville, VA

Overview

This position is a senior role in Greater China to support business in mainland China, TW & HK.

This individual will provide vision, leadership to teams across the Greater China in terms of business partnering, business support, budgeting, new business modeling support for the division and ensure a facts-based and data-driven disciplined decision making.

Critical success factors for this role include business acumen, in-depth understanding of business, business modeling. Good communication and influence skill. This position reports to the senior director and head of operation of Greater China.

Responsibilities

Business Insight/leading indicator• Use of analytics and business acumen to collaborate with business leaders to develop orders and sales forecasts on weekly and monthly basis Cooperate with commercial department to increase the completeness, timeliness and accuracy of sales opportunities in Sales Force, win rate for leading indicator for forecast  Drive business growth and market share improvement  Partnering with market team on market intelligence, coverageBusiness supporting/partnering

 Lead on weekly reporting and monthly performance review, weekly progress Segment/product/region forecast  Enhance the forecast accuracy scorecard and leverage this as a mechanism to drive forecast accuracy of business segment/product line Ensure delivery of annual AOP and drive monthly/weekly progress with weekly tracking. Partnering with business leaders on allocation of resources including headcount, operating expenses, capital and inventory Develop a standard business analysis framework for finance BP across various sub-regionsBusiness Enablement and Effectiveness Regional/segment P&L and profitability improvement (margin expansion, resource efficiency) New business model business case development, feasibility study and work with business leaders to evaluate and execute the new business model for success Partnering with commercial/marketing and business leader on key metrics and KPI Partnering with business leaders on design of incentive plans Partnering with business leaders and HR on sales/engineer productivity  Project implementation tracking and audit Provide insightful data analysis for business decision and drive a culture of disciplined facts-based and data-driven decision making  Working capital and capital expenditure funding allocation maximizationRisk Management/compliance• Aging items: AR, backlog (push-out, times)• Credibility evaluation• Bidding status/tracking• Rev Rec control and evaluation• Compliance management (trade compliance, tax etc.)• Dealers/channel inventory • Process ImprovementPeople management and team development Build, lead, motivate and develop a team to perform financial and business analysis Capability and team’s skillset re-evaluation to build a team for business growth needs Continue to enhance the finance business partnering capability SOP for each role to support various business. Raise the bar and performance while help the business manager to develop finance understanding.

Qualifications

Education: • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting Experience: • Overall 15 years MNC working experience, with 10 years as managerial role with experience in commercial finance, operational finance and FP&A. Basic Qualifications Demonstrated partnering and communication skills with cross-functions Strong process mindset, together with concise and positive manner Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision Refined English and Chinese written and verbal communication skills, with ability to extract and explain the “story” from the data Be professional, open, honest, sharing, proactive and a good team player Requires history of proactive problem solving, balanced leadership and pro-active business partnering with supported groups strong organization, attention to detail and a commitment to quality output  Must be able to work closely in a team environment, interacting with all levels of the organization and have the communication skills and poise to do so effectively Position requires organization, attention to detail and a commitment to quality output A self-aware, genuine and optimistic leader with proven ability to develop a diverse, high performance, results oriented team Passion for creating improvements in efficiency and effectiveness of FP&A processes and procedures, both individually and through inspiration of team members Good judgment and ability to make strong decisions independently, while keeping key stakeholders informed A change agent with proactive attitude even in facing of challenges and obstacles along the way

Preferred Qualifications Expert with SAP or Financial/ERP system like (AO, BPC, CRM, Salesforce, PBI) Strong finance modeling experience Finance degree/certification, preferably with CPA, CMA and/or MBA
