The Buyer II is responsible for developing the Supply Chain within designated categories to ensure quality and continuity of supply, and continuous improvement in productivity and cost.
The Buyer III will manage and liaise between the various manufacturers/suppliers and the procurement community in support of TA Instruments production requirements. Key activities include; supplier discovery and sourcing suppliers to manufacture components unique to TA Instruments, exercise judgment to address material issues, negotiate costs as required, review and manage purchase price variances and identifies standard pricing on an annual basis. This role is 50% transactional and 50% strategic.
